It started with a call for people to help or the annual festival would go away — all the way back in 2008! Being on the committee since that initial year has been a joy of mine. Seeing and making friends with the different families attend every year, the hundreds of smiles on children’s faces, and promoting the village has been an fantastic experience. Working on promotions, I’ve done it all — drawing the coloring pages delivered to local schools, taking pictures day of, posting live videos on Facebook, assisting with setting up and tear down, down to updating the website and creating all the promotional literature. Below is just some of the work I’ve done for this great fall festival.
