It’s been another long weekend for Taylor Manor West. This weekend the kiddos had training for the upcoming black belt graduation show on Saturday and then an early rise on Sunday (530am) to travel to Marshfield WI for the Reis Fall Tournament. They were two of only a handful of other Plumer Karate America students competing.
This is Willem’s first tournament entry since recovering from his knee injury, and he received 3rd in black belt open weapons forms (personal form Willem created).
Lillian received 3rd in black belt traditional weapons forms (forms learned through curriculum), 2nd in black belt traditional open hand forms, and 4th in sparring.
Kids also were part of saluting and congratulating Mr Garcia to his seventh degree black belt, presented by Mr Likes and Mr Reis. It was an insane sight to see this many black belts in line for Mr Garcia. Below are videos of the kiddos performances.
