Yesterday was insane. Started off like any other day when it’s tournament day. Run to Lodi around 7am, get checked in, man my post at the door, bolt the minute I hear the kiddos competing, curse under my breath when they are competing in opposite rings across from each other (thankfully one kiddo finished as the other one just started).

But then Lillian wins her traditional weapons forms. And when you are a black belt and that happens, you go to grand champions. That’s where you compete against all the other black belts in your age bracket to get a trophy taller than Lillian. She rocked it.
