052326-1739 JOURNAL ENTRY

I’ve been sitting here thinking a lot lately of the way things are going. Locally, regionally, nationally, and globaly. I sometimes hit the ‘righteous anger’ route and want to nuke everything and then realize, I’m the lower rung of every ladder in the world. There are people worse off than me – but that lower rung is still under water. And the way the rest of the ladder is acting, I will stay RIGHT where I am.

There are people in this world that are obsessed with power and money and fame, including their appearance, both online and in real life. And they have no idea they have been possessed by the ruler of this world.

The amount of evil and hatred and anger in this world is beyond comprehension. And I sit here, struggling, fighting, exhausted from the fight, worn out by the struggle, stressed out and tapped out from opinions and attitudes. I just want to breathe. But I can’t. I have to keep fighting. I have to keep struggling. Cause if I loose sight of the goal – I’m done.

My hype man? Yeah. Let’s see. Paul? I’m going with Paul.

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

Ephesians 4:31-32

070125-1636 JOURNAL ENTRY

A law-tuber (Lawyer on YouTube) named Steve Gosney, once said during a live stream and I had to immediately write it down. It sits on a post-it note here on my bulletin board right behind my monitor.

“Faith is essential to personal freedom.”
“What do we do with the freedom we have.”
“Are you prepared for individual freedom.”
“Do you know where your faith resides.”
“We have unconsciously placed our faith in things that are not worthy of that faith.”

I’ve seen a meme lately of Randy Macho-Man Savage in his full American get up, right next to a picture of V from V from Vendetta. And under Macho-Man it said, “What I mean when I talk about my country.” and under V, it said, “What I mean when I talk about my government.”

Where does your faith lie? Mine is in Christ. Not in our government.

Where does your freedom lie? In the blood of Christ. Not in our government.

You can have pride in your country, but not your government. In a few days we celebrate our country’s birthday and all I see online is hate and anger and rage. Rage is a new one. Should be one of the internet’s deadly sins. “Fourth of July is cancelled”. You do realize that you can say that in this country _because_ of this country right? You’re not getting hauled off to jail because you posted nonsense rage bait on Tik-Tok.

Work past your hate and anger and rage (yes, I know I sound like Yoda) – and start looking somewhere for answers. It’s not who sits in Congress or the White House. It’s to your Father. And he loves you even if you are posting all this nonsense.

Tell someone you love them.

Be excellent to one another.

All hail The King!

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked.

Nor stand in the path of sinners,

Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!

Psalm 1
