Sorry for my absence posting of late. It’s definitely been a wild ride these past few months. And more importantly – just this last week with the addition of yours truly to the unemployed. Yes, Apex has parted ways with me. Blessing in disguise possibly. I’m not sure they, or Performance for that matter, knew how to use my skill set.
Speaking of skill set, this was a cool fixture concept that was delivered to my desk during one of the trade show trips by sales staff. It included coming up with something that was a low price point because it was basically given away to retailers to display their products. The “Generic Bedding Company” (yes, that’s a fake company to protect the end customer) asked for a small, knock-down end cap. This conceptual fixture rendering started as a quick, 15 minute sketch and developed into a conceptual kiosk complete with renderings of products, estimating and rough engineering for roll out.
